The garden consists of several different parts, all with different character. What binds it all together is an ambition to work WITH the nature and thus adapt plants and design to the natural conditions of the site. On the warm and dry moraine on the front side we have laid out a heath garden. On the back side, where there is more fertile soil and wetter conditions, we have a pond garden and a woodland garden. Along one of the streams we have built up a coniferous woodland garden where different kinds of edible mushrooms are cultivated. Where the last rays of evening sun is setting you find the pool garden. And so on. Most plantings are designed to be sustainable, more or less self-maintaining, systems or biotopes. The garden is interwoven with the nabouring pasture and forest.
The garden is open for visit – just call or send an email to make an appointment!
